Our Team

All of our psychologists are registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). This national registration standard ensures that all psychologists practice in line with a Code of Ethics document based on principles of respect, propriety and integrity, and engage in continued learning and development throughout their career. You can check any of our psychologist's registration through the AHPRA website by using their registration number.


Stevie-Rae Kirkland

Clinical Lead

Stevie is a registered psychologist and board approved clinical supervisor who has experience working with children, adolescents and families from a variety of backgrounds. Stevie has a particular interest working with those who have difficulties with anxiety, neurodevelopmental disorders and attachment disruption. Stevie works from an attachment-based framework to assist individuals strengthen relationships with their support networks. Stevie has completed additional training in Circle of Security, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) interventions. Stevie also has a strong interest in canine-assisted therapy, and the positive impacts that animals can have on wellbeing.

Kate Sullivan

Practice Manager


Kate is completing her thesis in the field of educational and developmental psychology at Monash University. She is particularly interested in working with children and adolescents from a trauma-informed and attachment framework. Kate has training in suicide prevention and has experience working with children and adolescents from a variety of backgrounds in Client Care Support and Triage roles. Kate currently oversees our Client Care Support team and all administrative processes. She is passionate about providing our clients with a friendly and seamless experience throughout their engagement with FSA Psychology.

Mathew Aquilina

Mathew is a registered psychologist and board approved clinical supervisor with experience assisting children, adolescents, and families in individual and group therapies. Mathew is interested in working with anxiety, trauma, and attachment based difficulties in young people. Mathew has completed training in Circle of Security, ACT, CBT, and Schema Therapy models of intervention. Mathew has had experience running a number of group programs with Warehouse One7, as part of external agencies, and in the local community. Notably, he developed a resilience- and emotion-focused program for boys at a local high school. Mathew continues to enjoy work with boys and young men particularly and is passionate about early intervention in shaping men's understanding of and attitude towards mental health issues.

Diana Gonsalves

Lize Booy

Lize is a registered psychologist with experience working in educational settings and out-of-home care. Lize is passionate about working with children and their families and has been able to do this in group and individual contexts. Lize works from a trauma-informed, strengths-based, and attachment framework. Lize is also our assessment clinician and conducts cognitive, learning and ADHD assessments.

Megan Blacker

Megan is a registered psychologist who has experience working with adolescents, adults, families, drug and alcohol, suicidal and self-harming behaviours. She works collaboratively with the child or young person and their families using a variety of different treatments that are client centred and strength based. She has a special interest in trauma work and mindfulness practice. Megan is also an approved Victims' Services counsellor.

Ajdin (Adi) Mujezinovic

Ajdin is a registered psychologist with experience in community outreach mental health, and further study in transnational neuroscience. Ajdin is passionate about providing personalized approaches to psychotherapy in the child-adolescent-family context. Ajdin works with a focus on evolutionary psychology, bio-psychology, attachment theory, trauma informed and strengths-based approaches. Ajdin also has an interest in Canine Assisted Psychotherapy.

Cooper (aka. Boopy) Mujezinovic-Kirkland

Facility Support Dog


Cooper (A.K.A Boopy) is golden retriever, a fully qualified assistance dog, and a very good boy. Cooper was in training with Assistance Dogs Australia (ADA) from the age of 8 weeks, including 6 months of advanced training. His skills are up to international standards as outlined by Assistance Dogs International. Cooper’s co-therapists, Ajdin and Stevie, completed handler training with Cooper, and are qualified to work with him in public.

Cooper has a passion for Canine Assisted Intervention and has previously helped in OT sessions with ADA. His interests include; pats, belly rubs, liver treats, bumping his head on things, tug, and sleeping.

Jayke Parish

Verena (Nena) Matuska

Nena is a registered psychologist and Victims Services' approved counsellor. Nena recognises the importance of long-term and staged therapeutic approaches for vulnerable clients following experiences of trauma resulting from crime (Domestic and Family Violence).  Given the significant overlap between what occurs between populations experiencing complex trauma and those displaying a range of contextual mental health difficulties (e.g. Adjustment Disorder, Complex Trauma), Nena has proven her capacity to work with victims of crime with a wide range of presentations.

Daisy Seaton

Provisional Psychologist / Triage Clinician

Daisy is a provisionally registered psychologist who is passionate about working with children, young people and their families. Daisy works from a values-driven, attachment-based perspective and has a special interest in incorporating mindfulness practices to help young people manage their thoughts, emotions and behaviours. She has particular interests in behavioural issues and anxiety disorders. Daisy is also our Triage Clinician, and completes all intake phone calls for service enquiries.

Kalynda Powell

Kalynda is a clinical psychology registrar with an interest in working with children, adolescents and families. She has experience working in rural and remote mental health and with Aboriginal communities and individuals from culturally diverse backgrounds. With a background in dietetics, she has an interest in the interaction between food and mental health, along with other interests working with those who experience difficulties with anxiety, depression and trauma. Kalynda uses a range of approaches to work with the young person and their family to tailor a therapeutic intervention that will suit their individual needs.

Theo has recently graduated from a Graduate Diploma of Psychology Advanced at Monash University, where he completed his thesis on personality, resilience, and gratitude. He has had experience working with children, adolescents and adults with intellectual disabilities and mental health challenges. He is very interested in a holistic approach to mental health and well-being, with a particular interest in food and nutrition and its impact on our mental health.

Client Care Support


Brianna is our Client Care Support staff member who is passionate about ensuring our clients receive the assistance they need. She enjoys working with children and adolescents and has experience working with children through both dance and tutoring. You will see Brianna's friendly face at our front administration desk.
